The strengthening mechanism of TZM alloy is as follows :
(1) Cold work deformation hardening not only improves the strength of the alloy, refines the grain, but also produces the ductile fiber structure.
(2) A small amount of titanium and zirconium elements are dissolved in the molybdenum matrix, which improves the structural stability and the recrystallization temperature.
(3) The interaction of substituent elements (titanium, zirconium) and interstitial elements (carbon) in the molybdenum matrix results in dispersion strengthening, forming the precipitation of spherical composite carbide particles, and improving the high temperature strength and creep resistance of molybdenum. The content of carbon and titanium in
