How is the titanium anode coated?
1. Coating liquid, the coating liquid is coated on the surface of the titanium matrix, usually using brush coating method, can also use electrostatic spraying method, roll coating method, etc.
2. Bake 1000 times, each time coated in the red lamp, or far red lamp baking, drying temperature is generally 100 ~ 200℃, so that the solvent slowly volatilized. The drying process vaporizes all solvents. If the evaporation is incomplete, the bonding force of the coating and the electrochemical performance of the electrode will be affected during the thermal oxidation process.
3. Hot oxidation, calcined at the specified temperature in the heating furnace for 10-15 minutes. On the one hand, the high temperature thermal oxidation makes the content of chloride in the coating very low, and the conductivity of the coating becomes worse. On the other hand, the larger the oxide crystal, the larger the grain size will reduce the adhesion of the coating, which will degrade the electrochemical performance.
The thermal oxidation temperature is too low, the oxidation is incomplete, the binding force is poor, and the required electrocatalytic performance cannot be obtained.
Oxidation temperature affects the structure, composition and properties of the coating. Generally, RuO2 and TiO2 solid solutions with rutile structure can be obtained above 400℃.
