Characteristics and precautions of titanium rod filter
Titanium rod filter uses titanium powder sintered filter element, generally used for coarse filter or intermediate filter. The filter element has the advantages of high precision, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, widely used in the pharmaceutical industry, the shell material is 316L or 304 stainless steel.
Titanium rod filter features:
1. Good airtightness, compact structure, not easy to damage. It is suitable for harsh working conditions in the production site without maintenance cost. 2. Small footprint, high temperature resistance, and good oxidation resistance, suitable for a variety of acid, alkali, salt and various organic solvents high temperature precision filtration; 3. Non-toxic, no magnetic, no fall off, good biological integration, because of this performance, so titanium rod filter is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry, food and beverage industry; Cleaning method of titanium rod filter:
1. For the newly used filter element, the method of water backflushing and gas backblowing is generally used for cleaning, that is, slightly greater than the working pressure (such as; 0.3mPa) clean water with water injection in reverse direction. The recoil time is about 1 to 3 minutes.
2. For multiple backwashing, the filtration effect is not obvious rebound, can be used below 5% hydrochloric acid solution, or 8% sulfuric acid solution, or 10% NaoH solution at room temperature soaking, and then wash with clean water.
Precautions for use:
1, avoid scratch collision, dust and oil.
2, in use, its working pressure should not exceed the rated working pressure.
3, normal use, at least 3-5 minutes of low pressure start time, the relative pressure difference should be controlled below 0.5Mpa, and then the working pressure is gradually adjusted to the normal need (the highest pressure is not more than 0.4Mpa).
4. After the product runs to a certain period, it may increase the pressure and reduce the flow due to the blocking of the filter element, which requires recoking or backwashing regeneration. Regeneration period depends on rated pressure and flow rate.
