What is a titanium square tube?

Titanium square tube is a general term for square tubes and rectangular tubes, that is, titanium tubes with equal and unequal side lengths. It is made of titanium through craftwork. Generally, the titanium material is unpacked, flattened, crimped, welded into a round tube, first rolled into a square tube, and then cut into the required length. Square tubes can be made into straight seam square tubes and seamless square tubes. When the temperature is not higher than 540°C, the oxide film of the titanium square tube will not thicken. However, at a higher heat treatment temperature, the oxidation rate of the oxide film will be accelerated, and the inner diffusion layer of the oxide film will become a layer of contamination. The brittleness of the oxygen-contaminated layer is relatively high, resulting in cracks on the surface and damage to the surface of the part. There are mechanical processing, pickling, chemical grinding and other methods to remove the oxygen pollution layer. During heat treatment, under the premise of protective heat treatment, the heating time should be shortened as much as possible. Gas furnaces can also be carried out in vacuum furnaces or inert furnaces. The pollution caused by the heating of titanium square pipe fittings in the blast furnace should be avoided or appropriately reduced.
