What's Timascus?
Titanium damascus(timascus) also known as Mokuti or TiMoku. It's made from different grades of titanium or titanium alloys. Generally, titanium damascus/timascus/Mokuti is processed by multi-material (pure titanium or titanium alloys), fused by forging (physical fusion), and the block, rods&bars and plate billets are processed by twisting, extruding, straightening, cutting, polishing and other processes. The billets are heated or anodized, and finally show brilliant colors (red,yellow,blue,golden,orange,pink the color affected by temperature) and beautiful patterns. Since only the approximate direction and the thickness of layers of the patterns can be controlled during processing.So each timascus crafts are unique.

Coloring
There are two ways for coloring these materials:anodic oxidation;High temp heated
Different voltage or temperature makes different colors, heated the material, usually when the red color appear just stop heating, the best colors finally light or dark blue, red or purple and golden(orange).
